Dirty Rats!
"DIRTY RATS" was created in 1977 with Bogart to the left. This has always been a work in progress as these two characters are the mainstay of the Cheesy Bits Franchise. Mugsy, to the right, appeared later on as a complement to Bogart. The storyline includes yours truly as one of the characters!
The "Smiling Roaches"
The Smiling Roaches are a zany gang of cockroaches that are always up to no good. Each one has his own distinct personality. Cuchi and Paco (to the right) were amongst the first characters that would later be known as the Smiling Roaches. The name for the gang actually derived from a song called Smiling Faces sung by a group called The Undisputed Truth which hit the airwaves in 1971, which my good friend, Andre Sanchez, from Passaic, New Jersey, sung as Smiling Roaches. In his rendition of the song he described what the Smiling Roaches looked like, which gave me some great ideas for my drawings. The Dirty Rats Usually hire them to do their dirty work for Tequila, Beer and Tacos!
